iKlover Privacy Policy
iKlover is a Korean-learning app for adults aged 18 and over, operated under the brand KstudyAI. This policy covers iKlover, not the separate KidsKlover app.

1. Information we process and why
- Account and profile: login-provider identifiers, email address, nickname, profile image and your chosen preferences, to sign you in and manage your account. Google or Apple handles its own login credentials; we do not receive your Google or Apple password.
- Learning and points: lesson progress, answers, completion records, practice results, rankings where enabled, AI-point balance and usage records, to provide learning activities, sync saved progress and control access to paid-cost AI features.
- Audio and voice profile: recordings you choose to submit, voice-profile identifiers and generated Voice Mirror audio, to assess pronunciation and let you practise lesson lines in your own voice. Voice-profile registration requires your approval and is optional.
- AI Coach: messages and microphone audio you share during a session, selected coach settings and session/usage information, to provide the AI conversation. The provider may create and retain a transcript. Do not include information you do not want processed by the AI service.
- Uploaded and shared content: selected photos, challenge videos, posts, comments, direct messages, reports and blocks, to provide the features you use and moderate misuse. Content you publish or send is visible to its intended audience; private voice profiles and saved Mirror audio are not public posts.
- Technical and support information: notification token and preferences, device/app information, IP address and service/error logs, and messages you send to support, to deliver notifications, operate the service, prevent abuse and resolve requests.
2. Permissions and your choices
Microphone access is requested for recording and voice conversation. Camera or selected-photo/video access is used when you choose the relevant upload or recording feature. Notifications are optional. You can change permissions in your device settings; turning them off may stop the corresponding feature without deleting existing data.
Register only your own voice. Voice Mirror is for your learning, not identity verification. Approving a recording, submitting a pronunciation check and starting an AI Coach session are separate actions. Ordinary learning does not require a cloned voice.
3. Service providers and embedded content
- Supabase: account authentication, database, private file storage and server functions.
- ElevenLabs: the approved voice sample, voice characteristics and lesson audio needed to create your reusable voice profile and generate Voice Mirror audio. Its retention and model-improvement rules depend on the applicable service terms and account settings; we do not promise zero provider retention.
- Microsoft Azure Speech: submitted pronunciation audio and reference text for assessment. iKlover does not save this assessment recording as a server audio archive; the app may keep your practice result on your device and a verified learning summary on the server.
- HeyGen / LiveAvatar: AI Coach voice, messages, coach settings and conversation processing, including its real-time and AI subprocessors. This can include an external voice provider for the coach’s generated speech.
- Google Firebase: delivery of optional push notifications. Google and Apple also process information when you use their sign-in services.
- YouTube / Google: embedded lesson videos. Loading or playing these videos sends connection and playback information to the provider, which may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy.
- Cloudflare: delivery and security of these public web pages, including connection information such as IP address. Support email is handled through Gmail.
These services may process information outside your country, including in the United States and other locations used by their infrastructure. We use information to provide the requested features, support and security, not to sell your personal information. Public or recipient-shared content is also disclosed through the sharing actions you choose. Disclosure may be required by applicable law.
4. Storage, retention and security
Account, learning, points and uploaded content remain while needed for your account, unless you delete the relevant item or request account deletion. Your reusable voice profile and private, generated Mirror audio remain until deleted; saved Mirror audio can be reused without generating it again.
A new voice sample stays on the recording screen before approval. After successful profile creation the app clears its source recording; this does not erase provider-held samples or histories automatically. Local practice results, draft videos and older locally saved voice recordings may remain on the device until removed.
We use encrypted connections and account-based access controls for private data. Account deletion removes the active account-linked records and files described on the deletion page. Failed cleanup stays pending for retry or support review. Provider service histories, security logs, support correspondence and backups can have separate retention schedules or legal duties; deleting the active profile does not guarantee immediate removal from those systems. Contact us to request review of those records. We do not claim a single fixed retention period for every provider.
5. Access, correction and deletion
You can edit your profile and notification choices in the app. You can remove a voice profile through My → Voice profile → Replace or delete my voice. Account deletion is available through My → Delete account, followed by explicit confirmation.
You can also request account or specific-data deletion without installing or signing in to the app: open the deletion request page. Email us for access, correction, a copy of your information, withdrawal of consent, or other rights available under applicable law. We verify ownership before disclosing or deleting account data. Withdrawal does not undo processing already carried out.
6. Adults only
iKlover is intended for people aged 18 and over. It is not the children’s app KidsKlover. If you believe a person under 18 has supplied personal information to iKlover, contact us so we can investigate and arrange deletion.
7. These pages and policy updates
These legal pages do not require login. They store only a language preference in your browser and do not contain an advertising or analytics tracker added by iKlover. Hosting security logs may still be generated. We update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice or consent when required for a material change.
